Rodrigo Bellony's dancers amazed the crowd at El Carnaval del Boulevard in Washington Heights, NY. El Carnaval del Boulevard is a cultural festival produced by Juan Pablo Duarte Foundation which helps Latino families meet their educational goals. After their performance, Rodrigo's salseras dancied Bachata with Clown Toto and his funny friends. Who knew clowns liked Bachata?

Our first health fair outreach was sponsored by the All Nations Apostolic Tabernacle Church and was held in Roy Wilkins Park, St. Albans. Thank you to all of our visitors and all who signed up for our mailing list.
Rodrigo's students performed a Cha Cha and Salsa/Mambo to the songs Skin Jam by Tito Puente and El Yoyo by Wayne Gorbea. The salseras' crystal-accented flower hair clips were made by the multi-talented burlesque performer Amber Ray for her accessories line, Amber Ray Accoutrements. The dresses were purchased from e.K. Clothing, an online salsa clothing and accessory store.
Rodrigo and his students performed a salsa to the song Mambo Rodri for the Spring 2009 Open House at Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning. The routine is the story of a group of friends who compete for the affection of a charming heartbreaker, Rodrigo. This choreography was developed from the salsa "shines" (solo footwork) and partner work exercises that the class practiced on the first day of class at the Rodrigo Dance Studio.

The first day of salsa and Latin dance classes at Rodrigo Dance Studio was a smash. Our first group of students enjoyed an assortment of decadent chocolates and sparkling wine during registration.

Rodrigo Dance Studio held a multi-day Grand Opening Celebration. The first day of dancing was December 13 and we did not have our last dance until New Year's Day.
May 17, 2008 Rodrigo Bellony and his dancers performed for a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls club in East Harlem, New york. To suit the Chinese-inspired theme of the song, Ojos Chinos by El Gran Combo, the ladies donned cheongsams and parasols, while Rodrigo wore a changshan.
